Magistral Lecture at UPRM
Doctor Hitoshi Murayama, a globally recognized researcher of quantum physics, presented a magistral lecture about the quantum universe on December 7 of 2015 at the Amphitheater Ramon Figueroa Chapel of the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez (UPRM). The event got full house and a very enthusiastic audience.
Doctor Sudhir Malik invited the expert and coordinated the event on behalf of the Department of Physics, where he is Associate Professor. The event had the collaboration of the Center for Hemispherical Cooperation (CoHemis) and the College of Arts and Sciences.
Dr. Murayama’s visit to UPRM was mainly possible thanks to the Institute of Cosmology and Physics of the Americas (COFI), led by Dr. Mayda Velasco, Professor in Physics from Northwestern University, and who was also part of the audience.
