Biotechnology has become an interdisciplinary and applied discipline where a manipulation of different biological systems has been essential for problem solving and as an alternative for economic development. Here we propose the used of the integrative nature of Biotechnology as an educational tool by exposing students and teachers (Educational Teams; ET’s) to four interdisciplinary centers. The experiences in each center will involve hands on activities, seminars and workshops as platforms for the teaching-learning process.
